Renovations

Our Qualified Electricians can do all things electrical for your new project, including the renovation of an existing room in your House.

We can work with your chosen Builder and firstly attend to disconnect any electrical before proceeding with these modifications and then when they have new frame work up, we can come in and install all cabling for new power points and lighting that has been discussed with you. It is always a good idea to sit down and discuss the locations of the power points and the lighting plan with the plans that have been drawn up by the Builder. Our Qualified Electricians are able to make suggestions or recommendations if you are not sure of where or what power and lighting is required. Then once the gyprock has been installed, we come back and fit off all power points and chosen lighting. The key is to have good communication with our customer and the Builder, so the process can all run smoothly.

If you are updating your Kitchen, it is always a good idea to forward through your plans to make sure everything is taken care of. If you are relocating your Cooktop, Oven or Stove, it is always a good idea to let us know prior to the fit out of the Kitchen, as there will need to be modifications to the cables etc. it is also a good idea to add some more power points and update the lighting at the time of the installation of your new Kitchen. Pendant Lights are always attractive over a Kitchen bench and these prove popular for Kitchen renovations.

The same goes with your Bathroom, it’s always a bonus to go over the plans to make sure any variations to the cabling are run before the walls and ceilings are replaced so we can have everything in order for when the tiling is done. It’s always a great idea to put a new 3-in-1 Unit in the ceiling and make sure there is enough ceiling space to do so. Downlights are becoming more popular when updating bathrooms as these can be located over a vanity area to give off the lighting required. Heated Towel Rails is another feature you may wish to add and this cabling will need to be done prior to the new wall installation.
